    Hi,

Not got around to fitting the original Triumph Frame Sliders yet, so a quick question to any one who has done this.
Do you have to remove any of the Carbon fairings to get access or to actual fit them  :027:

Yes, the inlays and both side panels have to be removed, the holder on the cooler bottom right loosened to get more space so that you can get to the screws and nuts better at the top. later tighten the new screws with 48Nm. As a tip, put adhesive film underneath where the slider is in contact with the carbon fairing, otherwise the fairing will be scratched at the point.

    Hi Sordo,

Thank you for your reply and helpful information, the bike is due in the dealer for some work soon, but I would rather fit parts like these myself as I will take more care and as you say I will look to put protective tape where needed where the dealer would not think to do this.

Spring is here, the bike is in for its first MOT on Monday (now 3 years old !) so I want to get out there on it.
Took it out for a "quick" run last weekend when the roads were dry, the first time for a few months, I have other bikes but boy the Moto2 really does want to go  :152:
