I just bought a Daytona with 2300km. Showroom condition. I will use it exclusively on track, to replace my Street 765RS.

I've ridden the 765RS for two years and love it. I just wanted a more "sporty" bike, with low handlebar and fairing... For the moment, I'm not sure I will sell the RS.

On the road, I drive this German bike that looks like a tractor and you see everywhere, even on trackdays! 😉

I plan to make a few changes. Maybe change the fairing to less expensive to replace...

Greetings from Germany, changing the stock fairing for track is a smart plan! friend of mine just destroyed his. if you ride the track check out the BBT BritBikeTrophy. this is a racing series in Germany in which some guys from Belgium also take part. BBT is also Moto2Style, they also offer very good racefairing with a Moto2 look. https://bbt-racing.com/moto2style-eng/?v=3a52f3c22ed6

    Hi Pierre,

    Welcome!

Maybe we see each other in Mettet some day :152:

I also have the BBT - Moto2 Fairing fitted, which Sordo is mentioning and I can recommend it. The owner is very nice guy and always helpful if you have any questions.
However, keep in mind with that fairing, you need to remove the big "breadbox" exhaust, since the fairing will get burned as it touches the fairing.
I have fitted the Bodis exhaust header with a Akrapovic slip on. Only downside is that you need to loosen the exhaust header if you want to change the oil filter.

    Cheers!

Thank you for the info. I saw this fairing https://www.666carbon.com/en/765-moto-2/37693-fiberglass-complete-fairing-kit-triumph-daytona-765-moto2.html and will check the one you mention. Now, racing is not for me. I believe I'm too old 😀.

Fairing change is a job for this winter. But I will not resist riding the Daytona at Mettet next Friday. I'm registered for a two day training at Ales end september. I plan to ride the RS. Did you change the ECU map with the exhaust change ? We will easily recognized each other if we're in Mettet. Not much DM2 over there!

Yes, the ECU has been remapped as far as that is possible with the stock ECU, but no PowerCommander is needed.
I believe in the lower RPMs, the ECU is complety locked and nothing can be changed in that region.

I had this done by Alain from AVRacing (http://www.avracing.be/) and I am very satisfied with his work.
