Pic of your mirrors pls
on: July 28, 2021, 01:08:54 AM
Last weekend, I installed a few Motodynamic parts (Fender Eliminator Kit, Flush Mount LED Front Turn Signals, and Sequential LED Tail Lights).
I think the next mod that NEEDS to be done on my 765 is to get rid of the stock mirrors and put some bar end mirrors on.
Would you mind posting pics of your setup and feedback on any mirrors that you have found and like?
Thanks for your help!

I did everything except the flush turn indicators. I was at the wearhouse picking up the parts when I asked if they had any and then said screw it I'll come back another day. Were they easy to install?

I dislike the mirrors but also don't want to put bar end mirrors so looking for alts.

To be honest, they were a bit of a pita to install, but these parts were my first experience working on this bike, so I really had no idea what I was doing. Once I figured out how to take off the fairings, it became much easier. In all, I spent about 3 hrs installing everything . Now that I know what I'm doing, I could probably knock it all out in about an hour.

So, no cool mirror solutions out there?
I've been looking around, and can't seem to find a decent set of mirrors that will work and look good on this chassis.

The current stock mirror provides a great view of my shoulders and I need to lean/tilt to see.  I have been trying these bar end mirrors, but I need to actually tilt my head down to see (instead of a quick glance)

I don't mind the fairing mount style; I just would them longer and the ability to move/adjust.  I have been looking at the Rizoma Sport (fairing) mount mirrors, but none of the adaptors seem to fit the 765/moto2

Also a number of us have contacted Rizoma to request that they make the stealth mirror for the Daytona 657/765 and we have received a response saying they might make them in the future, although this was a while ago now….  :084:

It seems the Stealth Mirrors including the mounting i.e one piece.  That's a big ask of a manufacturer on a limited run of motorcycles (765/moto), but I don't know if the mounting is the same for the Daytona 657.

I was looking at the other sport/fairing mount which is universal, you just need the mounting bracket.  Not as sexy as the one-piece, but I'm looking for something functional/safe.

Dear Christopher,

first of all we thank you for the interest shown towards our brand and products.

We regret to inform you that, at the moment, we have no suitable options for your fantastic Daytona 765.

Nevertheless, we forwarded your request to our R&D department who will take care of planning the eventual compatibility study in the next months.

We take the opportunity to wish you a pleasant day.

Best regards,

i dont think rizoma will manufacture for such a limited production bike. What i know is woodcraft's camera mounts is the same size for daytona's and zx10r. May be we can try to mount zx10r rizoma stealth mirrors on the daytona and check for ourselves. the question is how to find one. they are out of stock everywhere.
