Frame sliders (A9788014)
on: July 03, 2020, 08:38:15 AM
Hi All.

Took delivery of my new toy last weekend just looking to get some protection on there before I start riding.

Just checking that the frame slider kit does fit OK?
I think I have found a couple of sets in the USA.  What was the UK price for the set??

Hi
They fit perfectly!  I imported mine from the US as couldn't find anywhere in Europe for them.  They're $170 USD, which is the same as the UK price of £140.  $50 shipping and about £50 of import duty and VAT (plus FedEx admin charges).  Still, I'm dead chuffed with them especially as I had an absolute disaster with R&G ones (sheered bolt in the frame/engine mount!  I'll write that horror story up soon).

This dealer has them listed as $100 (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TUA9788014-SPORTS-THROWOVER-PANNIER-KIT/143545829772?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649) - I emailed them after I'd already bought mine and they told me the listing is incorrect and these are indeed the sliders (as you can see in their photo).  Might want to triple check with them as they've just been relisted as they've not updated the listing title...

Piece of cake to fit, even for the mechanically inept like me   :001:

R & G technical department place more emphasis on logos than clients' protection! I bet the friggin' logos didn't sheer off or scrape! :745:

I've transferred my allegiances to Evotech. Great product and service.

Thanks for that.
Do you have any photos of what it looks like installed?

I'll ping that guy on ebay to see what he says.

What brand of frame sliders are those? Will frame sliders from a 675 or 675R fit the 765 Moto 2 ?

Triumph ones.  And yes they will, fairing and frame mounts etc are identical.

Thank you for the info, I just bought mine last Friday and hadnít had a Triumph in awhile.
The aftermarket doesnít have much support on this bike in the U.S. so I appreciate this forum
