High Mileage 765s
on: June 28, 2020, 02:44:39 AM
Who's been good and using their daytonas? Just crossed over 3k a couple days ago and making progress. This bike has ruined my 2012 675r, it's all I ride now.

Wow. Truly shows how enjoyable this bike can be. I have enjoyed every one of my 349 miles, but cannot even imagine seeing 3,000-plus before 2027.

As a matter of interest, does the exhaust seem louder by virtue of it having 'burnt' away some of the baffle wadding?

Good on you for being in the 'bikes are meant to be ridden' camp! :821:

Only at 1K miles here since I picked it up on May 26th.

Not as much time and opportunities to ride as I had hoped.

Can't say, I swapped to a Competition Werkes exhaust that removed the collector the second I got it home.

Ah, okay. Thanks.

It might have had the special link pipe from France. :008:

I’m on about 2,500 miles with the standard exhaust and I definitely think it has got more ‘Throaty’ 👍🏼

Thanks. That's what I sort of expected and maybe hoped for. More throat is always better after prolonged use. :007:
