Roads I've carved for decades are more fun, I'm willing to lean more in the turns, knowing i can still swerve midturn for emergencies!
Old roads seem to have been repaved!
My confidence to ride quickly is amazing on this.

Would like to know how similar a regular Daytona feels.  Anyone care to explain?  - thanks

Being the owner of 5 Daytonaís and two Moto 2 and been racing them for 10 years now I can answers this Q.

It feels like the exact same but more refined. So a little different. I really donít think the average rider will notice a difference between the two other then the norms at low speed.

The Moto 2 is a smooth riding machine and the 675s are more like itís older rough around the edges brother. Lol.

Still smooth but just a little twitchy in the corners.

Hope this helps.

All in all
1 love all my Daytonaís in there own unique way as I have built them all to have there own unique characters about them.

They are my children. Donít tell my real kids that ÖÖÖ.
Coffee and burn time with Rollie.
Cheers.

makes sense.  you should know!  thanks.
great picture.
A few years ago, a friend bought the first water cooled Porsche 911, I believe it was a 996.  I hadn't driven a 911 in decades, but while they both handled extremely well, the refinement of the newer one got it all done in a more relaxed manner.
Your explanation jogged that car-based memory.  NOW, I get it.

thanks again.

Good day all in Moto 2 land.  :158:

Rollie and I have been busy reading all the great posts all of you are taking the time to write about our beloved 765 and the mods everyone is doing to theres to make it uniqueÖ..   :169:

Great news hear in Canada.  SOAR racing league has made a rule change. Moto 2 will now be allowed in the  Pro 600 Extreme class.  :047:
This is fantastic news as we will now be competitive racing the Moto 2.  :087:

The team Rollie and I  :745: have decided to focus on 2 championships this year.
Pro 600 Extreme on the Moto 2
Pro Old Boys on the 675.

We are super excited as we this will be a fantastic 2022 race season. !!   :001:

Rollie and I have made the time to make 12 more RastaRacing146 link pipes.
And as always Rollie and I take the time to pre fit each pipe to my 765 to insure perfect fit.
250$ US all in.

4 are spoken for and mailing out later today.
Order now and have it sooner then later.
This is the cheapest and best improvement you can make to your beloved Moto 2 765.
I just mailed out a pipe last week to Hong Kong first time and one to Japan too.  Very cool and canít thank all of you enough for all the support over the years.

Time to get busy here in the shop making more pipes  as covid lockdowns have closed the work place.

Thank you for supporting RastaRacing146 racing season 2022 !!

Hey guys,
I joined this forum to get a link pipe from @rastaracing
figured hey what have i  got to lose?
I would try anything to make my bike sound like it looks.

So I contacted @rastaracing he was awesome had it shipped in a few days.

I just got my link pipe in yesterday had it on in no time.
The only thing that kinda sucked was getting the gasket
Off of my old breadbox (was jammed crooked on the pipe) but persistence paid off.

OK so I thought it would sound better...
I looked at the YouTube video and thought yeah sound better but it's not crazy right?

No this thing makes the bike sound completely
different, it's indescribable how good the bike sounds even with the stock can.

You can tell this is how triumph meant this bike to sound like.
Not to mention the bike is lighter now the bread box is pretty heavy like 10lbs.

Lemme tell you if you're on the fence just do it you won't regret it he even included brackets to keep the pipe guard still looks stock, but omg the sound is intoxicating
And no video or mic does this thing justice.

@rastaracing dude thank you so much for offering this!
Best thing I done for any of my bikes.  :763: :763: :763:

Huge thankyou to RastaRacing :763:
Link pipe fitted, what a soundtrack :020: :020: :020:
I was really surprised how quiet on the overrun the M2 was compared to my 2011 D675R, safe to say that's no longer the case #545 is an absolute beast now :152:

I may need to upgrade my earplugs next  :008:

Hello everyone!

In the spirit of this thread, since I also can't stop thinking about my 765, I thought I would upload some photos of how she looks with her new link pipe installed.

A multitude of thanks to RastaRacing for getting this to me so quickly! The shipping was flawless, tracking was provided, the packaging was impeccable, everything I needed was included (as well as some RastaRacing decals for good measure), customer service was exceptional, and the installation proved to be every bit as easy as RastaRacing's video made it seem. I bought an extra 44-47mm W4 exhaust clamp as suggested so I wouldn't have to reuse the old one on the cat-side of the link pipe. I decided to leave off the little metal exhaust shield on the right side, as it looks so good with the exposed link pipe that I just couldn't cover it up. Ran it through an idling heat cycle, let it cool off, and then started her up for real...

I know this has been said a plethora of times on this forum, but I'll say it again. The difference in sound is mind-blowing (truly, I think it shook some of my fillings loose), even just idling in the driveway, never mind once you get it on the road and tearing through the RPMs. Sounds like a proper Moto2-inspired bike now, and the sound finally matches the appearance. The weight reduction from removing that hideous 10lb box is immediately noticeable.

Again, thank you so much RastaRacing for providing this link pipe! It was definitely money well-spent, and knowing that helps keep you racing puts a smile on my face.
