I went. Nec is only 45 minutes from me.

Been on weekends previously but this time went on the Monday. Was just as busy as weekends :003:.

Triumph had a good stand with 2 Daytonas featured at the front - but roped off. Was the first time I'd been able to see in person and was immensely impressed. For instance, not many production bikes receive braided brake lines. Spoke with a helpful staff member, and was allowed to sit on the bike. As I am used to the cramped style of Honda Fireblades, the Triumph made me feel at home with its similar 'rider's triangle'.

The detail on these things is amazing:

Several weeks late on this one, but the bike show at the NEC was the first chance for me to see the new 765. I could not make the August MotoGP at Silverstone at the official release so it was a few months to see in the metal what my deposit was put down on. I had my Triumph letter with me so got a chance to go "behind the ropes" and sit on the bike. Good job it fits !!

Same with me. Missed Silverstone, and also got the special 'behind the ropes' treatment!!
